What to Know about the Annual Market
For over three decades, The Farmers’ Market at Sandpoint has brought together local farmers, craftspeople, food vendors, and artists. The market runs roughly 24 weeks from May to October, rain or shine.
When the market is in season, you have two chances a week to shop: Wednesdays from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Regardless of the day, the market is held at Farmin Park, one block off Oak Street downtown.
When planning your visit, be sure to check and see if any special events are going on. Listen to local musicians during Music at The Market, or celebrate the end of the season at Harvest Fest. A popular event is Taste of the Market, a roughly once-a-month event that showcases how to use market-sourced produce in seasonal recipes.
