What to Know before Setting Out
Lake Pend Oreille is the largest lake in Idaho, so you have plenty of water to explore. Several species of fish call it home, including lake trout, rainbow trout, bass, crappie, perch, and more. There is a limit to how many you can fish you can keep as well as the size a fish much be to keep it. Be sure to familiarize yourself with these rules before casting your line.
You will also need to ensure you purchase a fishing license, which can be done online through Idaho Fish and Game or a licensed vendor. There are different options for residents and non-residents.
